Finnish design studio Werklig invited us to create the motion behaviours for their epic rebrand of Vaisala – the tech company that makes the world’s most advanced weather and environmental sensors – including those used on the Mars Rover and behind the Mona Lisa

We worked with Vaisala to explore how the company's core subject matter — weather, environmental measurement, and atmospheric data — could be expressed through motion and code-driven animation.

We built a series of particle systems and generative animations that visualise weather patterns and atmospheric behaviour. Each animation was driven by real-world data models, creating outputs that feel both scientifically grounded and visually compelling.

We created a motion logo emerging from a world of particles.

The animations were designed to work across digital touchpoints — from large-format brand installations to social media and web. The particle systems respond to interaction, creating a living expression of the brand that changes with every viewing.

Exploration with the tools informed a motion language which we translated into real world applications including presentation graphics, UI and UX behaviours, as well as transitions styles and lower thirds for film production.
